Hi - my name is Shun Eguro, an intrepid Japanese entrepreneur.
I live and run businesses in Japan, that is, I mainly deal with Japanese market and customers. In fact, almost all my business at this point have little to do with the U.S., or other English speaking countries.
So the question is:
"Why this weblog written and published in English?"
The answer is:
I spent considerable years of my life in the States as an exchange student in high school and a college student. My language at the time was English, not Japanese.
As I look back, learning another language was a process to overcome the boundaries - not only in language and culture, but also in character.
As Ludwig Wittgenstein once said:
"Limit of my Language is the Limits of my World"
Yes there are many aspects of language boundaries setting limitations to our capacities. I myself have been aware of this for a long time - my once accustomed language of English is beginning to fade in my world, thus my English speaking world inside of me is also fading.
So I've got to do something about it - and here starts my weblog!
